I am about to buy a new Angel. What do you guys recommend for the hopper and tank. I've read around and it looks like the halo b and crossfire tanks are good. On the tank should I go 45/4500 or 68/4500?

I personally have a halo b...a lil rough on paint, at times...

Get a virtued velocity or plain old velocity and you could adjust the pressure on the ball stack...OR wait around and get the jrny - which is supposed be really nice but is undetermined as it is not out yet.

Air - I wouldn't get a 45/45...I have a 68/45 and have played with a stubby, which is nice - depends on personal pref. --crossys are good, PE, blah blah..all pretty good

I really like my 45/4500. The 70/4500 I was using just seemed too bulky. I obviously get less shot's but I'm hoping the magno internals will help that out. :) As far as hoppers go, I really like the gangstar'd Vlo Jr I'm using right now. Smaller and lighter than my Halo, and the thing has yet to lag behind in a fire fight. There's a company on ebay selling the Vlo jr w/ gangstar chip and speedfeed for under 100 bucks.

I like crossfire tanks though there are several good tanks out there. Crossfires are great for the price and color coded for pressure. I have a 45/4500 which feels great because my arms aren't that long. I can get a hopper and 4 pods off even with crappy fills that cool to 3.5k, but I do have to fill it pretty much every game to be sure I won't run out of air. A 68/4500 feels great if you have longer arms and should give you a hopper and 6 or 7 pods even with a crappy fill.

Be careful about very short regs. I find they put the bottle too close to the frame and promote chicken wings unless you run a reverse drop.

As for hoppers, I'd recommend any of the high end hoppers out there other than the pulse. Fast as heck but feednecks break a lot. My friend's were sponsored by them last season and they are happy they don't have to use pulses anymore. I have a vlocity which is great, but sometimes I wish I had a rip drive because a couple times I've had my hopper go down due to a break in the hopper coating the inside with paint. It's pretty fast with a gangster and pretty gentle on paint. You'd probably be very happy with a halo, reloader b, torque or vlocity. I have li-ion batteries for my vlocity (it eats batteries) but if I had it to do over I might go torque or reloader b rather than vlocity though they are all fine hoppers.

ill be useing the same 68/4500 crossfire peanut on my a1 as i did on my speed. I have had no problems with my halo at all and will continue to use that.

there is a guy that covered this he has a lot of video about new players coming in to the sport. techpb dot com

try not to ask whats everyones opinion and all they will give you is their opinion. you might not like it or you will like it. this will depends of how you play or how your field is set up to play. are you gonna play speed ball or woods mostly. are you gonna be competitive or just for rec. these are the questions you need to ask yourself. dont spend money on things you dont need.
