Hey everyone!

I need help troubleshooting my a1, I am having air consistency problems. When I shoot my gun it would shoot fine but when I start ripping it, slowly the air would die down till my ball just drops. Does anyone have a clue what's going on? Please reply it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks...

I would say check your LPR, or your minireg.

What is your set up presures and settings for the first things needing to know.

I still need to get the pressure tools, I bought the gun second hand and I'm not sure what the guy did to it, he has not been very communicative.

Budda, thanks for your input, I'll get the tools and check on that. I hope he did not mess with the minireg, I'm running LP and if he tinkered with the minireg for HP would that cause a problem as well?

well the gun will run HP without mods. now I no pro but one thing ive heard of is the wrong size micro line not allowing enough air into the gun. you wont be able to tell from the outside either it will just be a thicker wall, is there a way you can try it with an hp tank?

For sure get the guages and check your presure but one thing it could be is your tank. Wht kind of tank are you using? your gonna need a tank with a good recharge rate on it. Chances are if you are using a little 50 dollor PMI tank then your recharge isnt going to be all that good and your gonna drop balls. And also are you using an aftermarket dropforward and ASA. If so i have come across some that if you turn the on/off knob on all the way it will block some of your air and you will get bad drop off.

actually I'm using a 68/4500 crossy, although my ASA isn't stock it is a SP :(.

UPDATE:
the balls do not completely drop, it slightly loses pressure but still maintains shooting... I will keep testing out the gun.

Unless your regs are in BAD need of lube or compromised in some other way, this issue is often cause by your on/off. Visiually inspect that your macroline or and fittings are stopped up with teflon tape bits or something.

Most likely your problem results from that crappy SP on/off pushing down the tank reg pin too far or no far enough and screwing up air flow. Trying another on/off is an easy way to pinpoint this problem. You don't even need to swap on/offs to test, just connect you macroline to another on/off and check the results.

yeah, i'm gonna change that stupid on/off, it could be that it was restricting the amount of air going into the angel. thanks for your reply

if you screw the tank on turn the on/off on all the way then back 1/4 to 1/2 turn and see what happens. If you are not going to use the stock on/off id use a CP on/off. cant go wrong with CP. Your tank should be fine. Do as above take off your fittings and look for clogs and such.

FYI
when you put on you macro line fittings you dont need to use tape if the threads have the white mess on them. that hite mess is thread seal so you jsut need to scerw them on.

but yeah try your gun with your stock on/off and see what happens.
