Just purchased an A1 to replace my mini and have a quick question. I just purchased an Empire Shocktech low rise feedneck for my mini before, out of the blue, deciding to buy an A1. There seems to be some conflicting information. Most sites show anything Ion threaded to fit, but then some are saying it takes a special feedneck on the A1.

Can someone clarify if a mini shocktech will fit an A1. I could wait until it comes in obviously and try it out, but I'd like to have all the parts waiting for it when it shows up.

Ion threading is different from Angel threading plain and simple.

Bummer. Thanks for the reply, looks like I'll put it up for sale.

Yeah, that damn master tech probably doesn't know what he's talking about anyway :dodgy:

Just because you can shove something on that doesn't have the right threads doesn't mean it will keep working. And it just destroys the threads so you can't fix it if it does fail. But, hey, it's your A1...

Whatever. The guy asked and I told him what works for me. The threading is fine on mine.
