Original LCD Board is possessed

Ok, guys, This is my first post in a forum, ever... so if i'm doing something wrong, let me know...

I've had my LCD for 5 years now and a couple of years back i thought my board was going bad... every time i turned on my angel the LCD would read "safe" no matter what i did, even when it was live.

Well, about that time i had to get a job and didn't have time to play, so no big issue.. i just packed it up and left it in the closet...

well, i just started having time on the weekends again and funny thing is that my board is working fine now... it cycles through the menus, switches from live to safe and back...

Anybody heard of this happening? Is it a precursor to something worse? Any insight would be appreciated...

Definitely odd. Temp faults could possibly be the culprit. If it works, who cares. You might have gotten a quicker response, by the way, if you posted directly in the LCD forum.

Thanks Strangelove, for the reply... I ended up sending it to Bob at FMA. I figured it was time to replace the board anyways and get a tune up.... thanks for the note.. i'll be sure to post in the lcd forum next time...
