There is a new speed video on the net now, thanks to Ron from Mo's paintball and one of our moderators (C.Carles).

The video can be found at the link below:

www.angel-owners.com/videos/Speed-Ronnie.wmv

It will give you an idea of how fast the speed really is. .

It takes a while to load Jeremy. It's a tad over 1MB.

When I click it, I get that "The page cannot be displayed" thing, like when you type in a URL that doesn't exist.

Is it actual video, or just audio? I saved it to my computer, and all I got was audio. So, I've heard it, but there wasn't anything to see.

yeah, i'll say that the new speed is fast! it sure sounded that way, the camera's framerate couldnt keep up with the gun...that's awesome!

Sad but true, the camera really could not keep up. But, the audio alone should give you an idea. As the stream that Ronnie produced just by "butterfly" tapping the trigger. This gun was completely stock too, he hadn't even adjusted the trigger!

Nice Vid. If the camera could only keep up and be a tad longer to get a nice close up of the Speed.

Sorry Jedrith, it just wasn't enough camera to handle the SPEED ;-)
I don't know of anyone with a really good digital video camera, otherwise I would have used that. It was on short notice and all I had was my oldie but goodie Mavica. I couldn't miss the chance though. The video does not do it justice at all...

I made sure all my drivers are up to date, downloaded the lates codec and still the video seems garbled. For you guys that can see it, what O/S and applications are you guys using?

I can hear it fine though and it sounds FAST :drools:

It is very fast Syentific. I have successfully viewed it on various Windoze flavours and hardware(s). Win 98, 98 SE, 2000, XP, all on various service pack and patch levels. Media player older versions up to and including 9 plays it. I'm sorry I do not know which codec specifically it needs or if it even needs one.

metallica, try shooting one first. I can almost bet the house you WILL be impressed at how fast it is and how easy it is to shoot fast. An important feature in my book.

I just don't get how much easier anything is to shoot than something else with relativly the same trigger style. When I try I can only get my LCD up to 13 (w/o paint) whats going to make me cycle it faster?

Aside from pixie dust, shoot one and adjust the TOE on it. If you can't shoot the SPEED faster there's nothing more for me to say. I can shoot it faster than any other gun I've tried. I've seen others have the same results. Everyone who's tried one around me has been extremely pleased and surprised at how fast it shoots and how effortless it is.
Just shoot one, get back to us.

I have to agree that shooting the SPEED is very easy. Just set the MROF to max and even someone with very little practice can shoot quick!
