I havent read much here about people having problems with their Speeds, has anyone had problems?
Does my Team own the only defect Speed in the world,just a quick rundown;
Bought on Friday at the Max Masters direct from WDPs tent on site.
Saturday:board replaced.
Sunday:Ram replaced, the pin in the bolt was hitting the rear of the hole where it fits into the hammer and had caused a dent in the body.

The techs from WDP carried out the repairs immediatly and quickly,no service complaints here.

Monday;Sensi does not work and will not pass the drop test, chopping balls like mad.
WDP had taken their stall down so we couldnt get a repair, although Im certain that they will fix it without cost too.

Id like to hear from anyone with problems because I am thinking of buying a Speed and would like as much info as possible beforehand.I am not taking a shot at WDP,on a quest for knowledge!

Is there any chance that this speed will be in Vegas next week for the PSP Las Vegas event... I would really like to take a look at this speed.

No,sorry..we are in Germany,I could take some pics of the damage to the body at the weekend and post them.
I read something on the Forums that WDP would be doing all service and warranty work themeselves, can anyone confirm this?
Russ,I take it that you were offering your help,in which case, thankyou!

damn sounds like your ram stroke was WAAAY off for that to happen. you just said the board was replaced, well why??? i wasnt aware sensi had a drop test because you cant adjust the sensitivity like on cops and theres no need for a drop test. are u sure you didnt get some funky prototype since you are in germany???? jw.

There is a test for sensi involving dropping a ball in the feed neck which is described in the manuel,I cant give you the page number because the gun bleongs to my front player and I dont have the manuel here.
The first board was changed because, you guessed it,the sensi didnt work.
I would like to point out that in spite of the problems, the speed is a very impressive marker and very fast....

Was the Speed of your teammate dust blue?
I wated at the Angel booth on Saturday afternoon for like 30 minutes until Frazer was free to swap the board of on of my teammates Angel, and during that wait I saw a very desperate Angel tech completely rebuilding a dust blue speed. He first checked the LPR. Then he replaced it. Then he checked the Ram...and replaced it. Checked the board...and replaced it. I can't tell you what the problem was, but the Tech seemed desperate, always asking Frazer what else he can do to fix the (unknown) problem.

Seems like the speed still has some glitches...

Anybody talked to Team Wombles what their experience with their new Angels in Bitburg was???

The test is on page 8. My speed had the sensi not working and chopping and I remembered that the ram is kinda loose on the speed and the bolt will travel into the breech sometimes. Well after very rough handling during shipping, the bolt had gone forward into the breech, but not really thinking about it, I pushed it back and then went to charge for four hours. I think that the little plastic rod was messed up. I replaced it and the new one worked. It is kinda weird because both the rods look identical. But there's the ball drop test (page 8)

Ive heard so many people have problems with their speed. Maybe the techs are still learning how to adjust it and everything.

@ULRIK,yes,my Team mates Speed is dust blue,he had a black smart parts fighter top on and was playing for Paintball7.com.
I spoke with Ülrich Stähr from the Wombles several times at the MEM03,I didnt ask him about his Teams Speeds though,so I cant give an opinion, they did come in first though,so it doesnt look like they were having problems.

Seems like that was the speed of your teammate.

We'll see how the Speed will perform in the next weeks...

At the moment, I am fine with my IR3...as a backup for my new eOrracle
