My friend purchased a used Fly-Angel from another friend but he does not remember what the PIN was ... Is there anyway to reset the Pin without the need of a Data-Link cable, or sending it out to a dealer ???
Any Help, opinions, suggestions or answers are greatly appreciated and thanks in advance ....

you can try completely resetting it to factory defualts by pressing the 2 buttons inside the grip frame, if that doesn't work the only way is to have a dealer do it, since you're in Miami why not stop by and have Ron over at Mo's Paintball take care of it for you. I hear they've got a top notch shop, and a great staff to help Ron out.

Call Ron up, to my knowledge the PIN is a tough one.

Can any angel dealer reset pin codes? I am very scared my might get erased in a power failure or similar. I am always fooling around with all the electronic settings and it would be good to know that if it did get erased, my local shop could fix it.

Great!!!! And we all know this is an legit gun that hasn't been stolen and the "former" owner's only hope is that his PIN is preventing this guy from using his gun....

Seriosuly, what the hell is the point of the pin then. I don't think its very nice to start telling random people how to change the pin code themselves, especially to someone who leaves a post "my friend bought a gun and doesn't know the pin...". Im not at all saying you stole the gun or anything, and I do hope you get it fixed and know a legit owner, but clearly this is a question that should be taken to an angel tech to fix.

The -PIN- is for security of your Angel. I don't use the -PIN- feature, but if your Angel was stolen, the person who did steal would not be able to play with it because it would be a locked out sleeper.

Did you try putting in 0000? If that didn't work, send it to one of our Sponsors, or WDP.

Funny I knew I will eventually get the "how do we know is not stolen" question ... But thanks for all your answers and opinions, I see I have no choice but to take it to MO's ...

Now I have to disagree with some of the answers as I believe that WDP created this more as a safety feature than an antitheft one, plus it can happen to anyone especially in todays hi-tech world that requires a pin to even go to the bathroom in the workplace ... so it would have been nice to have a simple but "tricky" way to reset the pin without having to buy a $70.00 Data-link cable or sending out the board and spend $$ on shipping, work and the lucky chance that the board gets lost, or broken ... Lucky for my friend he wont have to ship his board, but a simple but tricky reset mechanism would have prevented him the hour drive plus the $$ spent for the job at MO's ...

I think I will tell my friend to have his lawyer call WDP and harrass them to take the bill on this one .... J/K LOL .... Laters

well you could always write down every pinpossible there will be a couple hundred. Buts its worth a try and you dont have to buy a data-link for 70$ dollars

yeah your right but its still worth it jk. dude call wdp hold your trigger down when its on safe give the 6 digit number it gives you too a wdp operator they will give you a special code to unlock it. you might need to get some proof of purchase so they know you didnt steal the gun. ill see if i can find thier number for you. its listed on this site over 10 times
