I'm getting a HALO within the week, do I need to upgrade detents on my 2k1 FLY? I heard that on some angels the halo was throwing the balls past the detent.

some people recommend the cobra indestruct but then some people don't and I don't even know anymore.

ok, it's time to :stooges: you, then :samurai:, then :blasting: your dead body, all for not using the search function. :) Well, cobra is a good detent, and you can adjust the strength of the Piston by elongating the spring. Use the search function next time, or you'll be sorry!

I shouldnt get any problems with balls pushing past the detents with an Evo 2 right?

Actually, I've searched and read that some ppl had probs, and some didn't. I knew the cobra was rebuildable... but not adjustable. I'm kicking myself, I just ordered a trigger from cobra!

I have the Cobra indestruct-detent. It works well but be careful to make sure the cap on it doesn't back out. I lost my piston and spring inside it on the speedball field but I got them replaced the same day.

make sure your HALO has the new software or you get it upgraded and you shouldn't have any probs.

Jas, the cobra indestruct-detent is rebuildable so you can unscrew the cap on the outside to replace the piston and spring if need be. I didn't pay any attention to it for a while and suddenly yesterday during a game, the cap fully unscrewed and dropped the internal parts. Just make sure you tighten it well to begin with and it'll work flawlessly.
