OK: My marker is firing fine, like always. I would just like to start out that way.

I had a few questions concerning maintenance codes that show up on my G7 marker.

The codes are pretty self explanatory, I would just like an explication as to their cause.

1. Oil Service Requested
2. Grease Service Requested
3. Bolt Wear Detected
4. Full Service Required

1. Oil Service Requested: Self explanatory, 2-3 drops of love juice in the reg micro-line fitting, dry fire the marker 20 or so times, remove bolt, wipe down bolt, reinstall and you are gravy.

2. Grease Service Requested: Less often than oil, remove necessary internal and reg componants, lightly grease o-rings, reinstall, done.

3. Bolt Wear Detected: Wear on the bolt from breach, and moreso from detents, Im guessing. AKA, replace Bolt.

4: Full Service Required: ?? No clue what this means, Im assuming a combination of all the above or more?

These are just the codes I have seen flash across my board. Now, my question comes into what triggers these codes, and how are they reset?

As of right now, I am unable to duplicate the codes.
(they usually flash across the screen when I put the marker into safe the press the middle button.)

After that, each press of the middle button will cause another code to scroll across. which is why I may not know the exact name of them. I do not know if I have fixed the issues if they don't flash across, so I guess I am just wondering if actually oiling, greasing, replacing the bolt will reset the code, or if they MUST be sent in to a MT to be "reset" And what does the "full service code" entitle? My marker fires flawlessly with no mechanical or electronic issues, every time, as a put in the time to maintain it and learn the marker inside and out.

I looked in the manual and unless I overlooked something, Missed the section that described the maintenance codes on the Opto Board.

^Yep. You push the center button or bottom button and they go away. They're maintenance reminders at pre-determined shot intervals.
