I heard something about Cobra making a super speed or super ir3 or something. like with speed internals and an ir3 board with a new cap on it. Obviously, all rumors

Give it some time and you will undoubtibly see the SPEED Fly, Warped SPEED, SPEED...more...C&C etc

I have always liked the Fly millings by WDP. I hope they do come out with one...

Cobra is just coming out with a IR3 with Speed internals in a few weeks. They wont be doing their own Speed model. I seriously think that the stock Speed is killa enough!

So cobra will be the first co. to retro fit the speed internals with the IR3??? hum? that seems nice.... sounds very tempting... keep on posting what you hear about ANY new speed coming out... later

As far as I know I emailed frazer from WDP and he said that they are not going to be making the SPEED internals for the IR3 due to some fitting problems and such but I think it is probally possible they just need to get working on it. I bet you a lot of people will buy that. As far as the Demon SPEED I am going to be in TJ with Avalanche and talk to ED about it and if I get my permission I will tell you guys whats up.

Crazy Train: where did you hear that? I go into Cobra all the time. I just bought my speed yesterday and they said nothing about retrofit IR3. They are planning a special body speed or next gen IR is what I heard.

I frequent Cobra too Kdog-13. Chris told me that the next generation IR is basically an IR3 with Speed internals. I'm pretty sure there wont be a Cobra Speed.

Yeah I mispoke there is no plans for a Cobra speed but a new version of the ir(whatever) will be a Mamba body style. I was thrown by the retrofit satement because I believe it's a new gun no a repackaged ir3. I ofcourse just go in hang out so I have no actual knowledge.

When do you go in? I'll see you sometime.

Just for the record: I played with my new speed tonight and OMG.

Kdog, I'm jealous! I'm trying to sell my lcd so I can get the speed right now. I usually stop in every other Sat. or so. Yeah, cobra will probably put the speed internals into their mamba IR3 body or maybe some mamba/cobra body of some sort. It wont be radically different from the IR3 now but it will have speed internals and some other functions close to the IR3 now. I still think that the LCD screen and IR stuff is unneccesary. The speed is the perfect balance for me. I can't wait to get mine!
