I just got my speed yesterday and when i went to put the ego 2 on it, it doesn't fit. It's not even close, so i sanded it down a LOT but it still doesn't fit perfect so i am gonna have to keep sanding. But just for you people that have evo 2's be ready to sand it because it won't fit it right way.

Seeing as both loaders force feed, the gated feed is kind of pointless, so you could just buy a clamp feed. You wouldnt have to sand the feed neck, and it would retain its strength.

Sanding will make you loader more prone to breaking. I wish that companies would screw off and make stuff that accualy FITS!!!

Seriously though. You pay big bucks for a "high tech" loader, but with all the "high tech" advances they cant even make a little piece of plastic fit in a standard sized hole.

2advanced...if balls did go up on an evo2 or halo the gated feed would not really help...b/c the force puching agianst the halo/egg would be much greater than of that pointless plastic ring

Get a clamping feed neck. I got a CCM one and it looks and works great! Way better than the twist lock ones like the demonic. More durable too!

actually .. the evo2 is a decent fit on my ff feed .. but this is a little off topic.

it sounds like wdp changed the diameter on the speed. the evo2 fits VERY snug on my cnc ir3.

Does anyone make a clamping gated feed? They'd only need to modify the top half of the feed neck.

The Evo II didn't fit on the IR3 either. So sand a little. Big deal.

I saw that. But the pictures don't say if they're gated feed as well.

I sent an e-mail and they don't make a clamping gated feed.

so does the Speed have the locking screws in its rise?
