Hey guys, I have 1.8 and obviously wanted to update to 2.2. I downloaded everything and started going by the instructions. Well, I get to the 5th page and start having problems. Where you have to click on the setupe.exe for the series 1 flash, it tells me to insert a disk.

Another person had this problem and posted in some thread, but nobody responded to him. Any help would be great guys.

I'm not exactly sure what step you are on but do you have a browse button? If not, hit cancel and try to browse to the location of the requested files.

did you save it to the default location when you downloaded the software or install it in another location ?

Using the instruction manual, it says at the top "Flash Utility Software Installation Steps". Under that is shows the folder Series_1_Flash.zip and says open the .zip file and begin the installation of the Flash Utility Software byh double clicking on the setup.exe file and follow the on screen instructions.

After clicking setup.exe it says insert disk, then it cant find angel-one-software-v2.2-upgrade-bundle\series_1_flash\angel_series_1_flash_utility .cab

So yea... thats all I get.

Oh I see. You must unzip the files completely in order for the setup.exe file to "see" the .cab file. Don't try to run the setup.exe while browsing the inside of the zipped (compressed) folder. XP supports zip files but cannot use the contents for installation until it has been fully unzipped. Does this make sense?

Yea, it still didn't work. :(

I tried it on 2 different computers, but, I will try it on my linux'd computer. Maybe, just maybe it will work then.

I would check the other threads I have posted in with what files to look for and where to put etc...
