Have an interesting fault with my team mates 05 Speed.
We had a tournament last week, it worked perfect on day one, but when he turned it on the next day, 2 LEDs on the back came on, and that was it.

Looking at the back it's these 2 LEDs:
X (Big one - not on)
x
o Red
x
x
o Green
x

It does not respond to trigger pulls (and have tried adjusting it) or the internal button,
Have tried with another (working) set of eyes,
Have tried fresh 9v batteries and a 9v power supply,
It just seems to be dead.

We would love to be able to send it to an MT for repair, but there are none in New Zealand, and shipping it round the world is rather expensive.
I'm an electronics tech by trade, and would love to know if there is anything that I could do or try, short of telling him he needs a new board.

Cheers,
Tim

what are the actual voltages of the 9v's

Not sure at the moment, will have a look at work tomorrow.
But even with my bench power supply set to 9v, there was the same problem, so I don't think they are to blame.

Good point. Will try that when I get to work this morning.

One 9v was at 9.2v, another was 8.8v.
Tried resetting the board a couple of times. But nothing happened.
Cheers for your help guys.
Any other ideas?

I've tried creating that fault on my speeds and can't. It may need reflashing.?

Have you tried e-mailing fraser at wdp.
