I currently have an LCD with a predator board which I've never fired. I now have the option of putting in an A4 board instead of the predator. Which would you guys recommend, whats the deal with upgrading code on the A4 board and what are the pros/cons of each board?

I saw that but it doesn't really seem to compare the boards as to which is better. And how much would a battery run me roughly as I think my battery is probably shot. And im assuming if i sent it to Ken at performance angel he'd be putting in a a4 fly board and making the eyes work?

theres no difference between a A4 board and a predator board exept predators use LEDs and the A4 a CD interface, pred uses micro switch and A4 optical. Honestly you would be better off using a UN1 board and a ACE/NOX/virtue/infantry chip as its cheaper then a predator
a replacement 6v batter is only needed if you use the A4 board or other WDP non 9v board. A link to the replacement battery is in the sticky threw a RC car company as the 6v batts are discontinued

Alright well it seems like I'm better off just keeping my predator board seeing I have that already where as with the a4 I'd have to get my hands on a battery and charger whose extra expense isn't really worth the LCD screen. Maybe if I can sell my predator I'll get the lucky although i did like the appeal of never having to buy new chips.
