member of the day?

How is it that the member of the day is always somebody who hasn't posted, for the past 3 days they have been new people who have not posted...?

i think it's random? does it hurt your feelings to not be the member of the day

it is completely random, it picks from the entire database, nearly 7000 members, im going to adventually edit it so it picks from a certain group, most likely it will be based on when you were last active, and stuff like that, i will be sure to make it so active members win, i dont think its fair for someone to win that isnt active at all.

Well 'most' people are inactive from the day they signed up. So statistics tell us that they will have the majority of MotD awards.
