how do you take the stock regulator off and put a gen x-2 one on?

The reg simply unscrews like any other reg. If yours is like mine was when i first got it, i couldnt get the reg off. What happens is, since the LEDs vertical reg mounts (the thingy the reg is screwed into) has super tiny close threads, if any amount of oil or dirt or anything gets in the threads..they lock up and kinda 'pressure' lock in there. The best way to remove the reg is to take an old leather belt, wrap it around the reg, and then clamp a visegrip really tight around it. Otherwise ive been told a strap wrench works as well. Once you get it off, in order to use a standard regulator (such as the gen x-2) you will have to buy a new asa vertical regulator mount, which can be found at most angel stores (check out the sponsors of this forum :)). Then get ur reg and ur set to go. good luck

just to let you know and maybe save you some money..... The Angel mini-reg is a great reg and one of the best in paintball. Really no need to change it. Plus it matches the "lines" if the gun and just looks right on an angel
