Help! Minor Prob

Hey, my Breech release rod has gotten sticky and doesn't automatically slide back into locker position anymore. I tried to get some oil in there and pumped the rod a bit, but it's still really stick. Please HELP!!

Remove back plate and lube rod. Make sure the spring is good.

:doh: well? Sounds like your spring is gone.... Clean your pin while you're at it.

Ya, i found that I needed to remove the back plate and check the spring and lube it form the inside. Sorry for being unclear. Thanks

i had a corroded one i just got a bit of wood and some towl around it put it against the pull gave it a tap with the hammer and it came free after that i lubed it up and its perfect.

I had a rusted one (my angel was in bad shap when I got her :( ) i took it off and polished it then lubed it, very smooth now.. but my pivot rod in the breech is stuck in the breech, the rod turns not the breech around the rod. And the idiot that had it before me stripped the locking screws..
