The LCD charger is not compatible with the LED. The LCD charging is controlled by the board, where the LED charging is controlled by the charger. So the chargers are very different.
As to the stripped screw, you can try epoxying a hex key into the stripped head, letting it dry, then turning it out. If that doesn't work you can try slotting the head with a dremel or hack saw blad and remove it with a flat head screwdriver, or buy an easy-out from your local hardware place.

i use the dremmel method personally cuz hardware stores are a bit hard to come by in korea lol.
if its in a tight spot like the grip frame i usually break down one of the dremmel "blades" and round it off so its 1/2 to a 1/4 the original size and go at it. takes a steady hand tho
i beleive the MT's can take care of a stripped screw if your unable to. id check there websites also

If it's the hex in the head of the bolt that's worn, i've always used a centre punch to remove these screws. First you make a dot on the head towards the outer edge, then use the punch at an angle and drive the head anti clockwise. You dont need a lot of force as the light shock from the punch breaks the grip of the screw.
