View Full Version : How do you become a WDP certified MT?
I dont know if this is the right forum to post, but I was wondering....How do you become a MT? I know training must be completed, but who can point me in the right place to start? Do I need to contact WDP? Another MT? I just dont know where to start.
Any useful advise would be much appreciated.
Thanks,

well the MT course is kinda a secret thing. to become a WDP tech you need to attend a tech course usually held at HB and i think theres one on the east coast. i think a requirement is you need to be affiliated with a shop or field that sells WDP products and you must buy the gun that they are giving the class for.

Not advice but an observation. I think that the limited number of MT's is done on purpose. With WDP changing their name and all..they may also change their business tactics.
One of those changes should hopefully be putting more angel parts in more store owners hands, and training more of those store employees to work on their guns.
I want angels to make a come back.. but kids arent going to buy a gun with parts only available on fixmyangel.com and thats how it is for a lot of people. It isnt convenient.
Hopefully things will change. There wont be alot of "master techs" but there will be some techs and parts available more commonly.. i hope.

Not to get off subject but, I don't care how much of an inconvenience it is to get parts from Bob. He is the best and I know without a doubt that whatever I have done, whether ordering parts or having my angel tuned, it will be done right the first time. His customer service is second to none. I have yet to hear one complaint about FMA. Performanceangel.com is the same way, the only complaint I've heard about Ken is that his site doesn't always run 24/7, but you'll have that when building a new site.
Back to the topic...read this, http://angelforce.tv/aboutus.html , and you'll understand why they are the best and why the have been titled Master Techs. All the knowledge in the world doesn't compare to years of experience.

I just taught a tech class at JT with 25 or so stores in attendance. This on top of other classes held through the year. As far as parts go, as long as the parts are still in production a Store only needs to order them.

dang so there isn't enough demand for the stores to order angel parts..I guess its good business for the mts, but I just like to know that when I need a part it will probably be at a store near the field.
But, how often does my gun break and I need to buy new prts??? never..
angels never break so stores don't buy the parts. I guess I found my answer all by myslef.
