I got this e-mail, this guy wants to trade his e-mag, with warp feed, drop, and level 10 bolt for my 2k2 LCD. I am tryin out for a team saturday and I am going for a front position. I do know e-mags are very compact, but I heard they were inaccurate. But, i will be playing front and not gonna be shootin the entire field. It took me awhile to get my LCD, and that's why it is so hard for me to make this decision. I just got a new board installed and spent 150 on it, so it's kinda like, why did I do that then unless I cared for the gun. Let me know what I should do.

at my last tournament i was forced to use an emag, it was sweet, just as good as my angel, except i hated the trigger. my angel's tank had a bad fill nipple and it doesnt come off easy( the tank from the gun that is) so i used my teammates lvl 10 emag...i liked it but im sticking with my angel

I know I wouldn't want to trade my LCD for anything, except perhaps an IR3 or SPEED. Eh, not even. Think about why he might want to trade it, perhaps he has something to gain by targeting you as an LCD user. Switching up before tryouts is also a bad idea, you don't have enough time to get used to the new equipment.

Since it is an E-Mag, I would not trade it. The LCD is a lot better than the E-mag. Mag have a tendency to always break. If you mess with one thing on them, everything goes wrong.

With the new X-Mag, I think they have solved these problems. If you were trading for a Mag, trade for the X-Mag. One of the players on my team has known a guy from Airgun Designs for a while. When we were at Madness, he was there showing the new X-Mag. It is nice to use with the WarpFeed because all you see is the barrel, and a little bit of your face.

Another opinion is that, do not trade for the Mag. With the new SPEED out, you might as well sell your LCD and pick a SPEED up. I also agree with what Charles has stated. "Perhaps the trader has something to gain by targeting you as an LCD user". Watch out for that.

it's all on preferance, but if you try, both you'll notice that the e-mag is really heavy and if your a front player you don't want to be running around with a 10lbs plus gun. the warp feeds cool on the hopper hits at close range, but the gun is HEAVY.

And what gives you the impression that the EMag is more compact than the LCD? It's like a foot and a half long without a barrel, friggin thing is enormous (just like all mags). Me, I'd keep my LCD, much better choice.

Stick with your LCD unless you plan on moving up to an IR3 or Speed. I stayed away from Angels for a long time, I realize now it was a stupid idea. Now I love my LCD! Don't have the money just yet for another marker, but when I do I will definitely get another one by WDP, or perhaps one from Cobra or Adrenalin. Stick with the Angels, you can't go wrong!

so that means you want an Impulse? Adrenalin doesn't do Angels anymore.

I wouldnt trade for a mag. They have too many problems in their history frankly (chopping especially). The deal also sounds too good to be true. Just think, this guy is giving all that stuff, just for the gun you already own. Why would he be giving you all that if he didnt think that your gun was better. I also agree with C.Carles-AOG, you dont have enough time to adjust to the new equipment. If you do decide to make the trade though, at least TRY one out before you do, Find someone at a tourney, go to your local shop, just explain your situation, ask politely, and im sure someone will let you try it.

I would definitely want the X-Mag if you are going to get one. Aluminum body and reg, cocker threads and all that. Otherwise I wouldn't even consider one. And the Level 10 kit is a MUST regardless.

To me the biggest advantages of an emag are the dual mode capability, and simplicity/reliability. Like all mags they are rock solid and simple guns. What is best for your needs is up to you.

If the E-Mag has the LVL 10 bolt in it its not going to chop paint. And its just as accurate. However the Mag is a heavy marker and not as effecient as an Angel. I would prolly stick with the Angel.

With a level 10 it can not chop paint! The new X is very nice and Tom is the man...but I think I would stay with the Angel.

The X-mag is about as light as a fly Angel IIRC, it's not heavy. But it's also not cheap, even if you found one.
