OK I recently bought an LED and I'm having a problem. When I go to air it up nothing happens as in no bolt click/hammer movement nothing. It came without a reg so I tried my sidewinder and a cp. I know both regs are good because I tried them on another gun. It seems like the flash pipe could be blocked?? The battery is charged but even if it weren't it should still here a click when I air up. My 05 Speed and G7 both do that. I have no experience with LED's. I removed the reg after degassing and some air escaped so it seems none actually went into the gun. Anyone else had a similar problem or any suggestions? Also the board has two small dip switches so I assume it's a select fire board/zip chip is this correct?

If the board has 2 switches, it is a zip chip.

Take the ASA off and take a look at the flash pipe, it might have some debris in there, I doubt it though.
To remove the Flash pipe, take the reg out and unscrew the screw holding it on, be sure not to loose the little o-ring that rests in between the top of the ASA and the body. Once the screw is out, pull horizontally, the flash pipe will pull right out of the trigger frame.

Make sure you are running a HP tank on there too, LEDs need about 800psi from the tank to the reg. Make sure the regs you are using are capiable of suppling the marker with enough air.

The 05 speed and G7 are both low pressure markers so that could be a problem as well if you are not using an adjustable tank.

If the marker is used, make sure there is no shell debris in the bolt/breech area. A full disassembly and cleaning could probably help as well. Make sure the LPR has all the shims and the RAM/hammer assembly is clean.

Any more ?? just ask. Hope some of this points you in the right direction.

Yes the tank I'm tried is high pressure. I use it on my Mags with no problem. I will take the flash pipe off and check I hope that's all it is. Just looking in the breech at the hammer it does seem kind of dry. When I get more time I will lube everything. Thanks for the help and answering my question about the board. I will have to search about the zip chip.

Ya man, if you have any ?? about the LEDs, ask away, I just totally rebuilt mine and once you get it working, its a great older marker to mess with. Lots of fun, and easy to do maintenance.

That thread should tell you everything about the Zip chip.

And here is my LED thread from the one I just rebuilt 2 weeks ago.
