They say Love Juice only for good reason. Others will destroy your solenoid in a hurry. Check out Fixmyangel.com for some.

Sorry to revive an older thread....

I agree that love juice is tricky to find and a bit over priced for how much of it you get.

There have been discussions in other forums/threads about safe oils to use. Many of the synthetic air tool oils are safe to use. As long as there is no petroleum/solvents and is 100% synthetic, air tool oil can be a decent replacement. Again, this is my opinion as I use RedLine synthetic air tool oil in my LCD and haven't had any problems with it yet. I just found it more practical to buy a larger bottle that would last me a life time for a fraction of the price.

I'm sure on of the MT's will blast me for this post.

QFT

But most people aren't responsible enough to do the homework before they dump something into their gun so my answer to these questions is always what I stated above.

The Love Juice is most likely re-bottled pnuematic tool/airline oil as far as I can tell.

Love juice is awsome. Its not hard to find you just gotta ask/get with the MT to get it. Also a little goes a long way. You dont need much like two drops in the reg and mybe a drop near the valve and ram. dry fire a few times wipe off the bolt and you are ready to play. I only use the oil about twice a month and that is when i am playing every weekend. Because dont forget you also have the grease put on the ram, valve orings as well which stays where you put it and doest break down and dry up for a while.
I also put a drop or two on my jds /aka LPR depeding on which angel Im useing, but that is only about once a month, becase again I have the orings lubed/greasedup as well.

Jeez, way to dig up a dead thread.

Gold Cup, regardless of what you may read on any paintball message boards from people with the name "Hitman", "hitman69" or "NukeTech", is not synthetic, and is best avoided. There's a reason why it costs 99 cents an ounce. The LCD manual is self-contradictory, in that it says to use only synthetic oils, free of hydrocarbons, solvents or abrasives, but both oils that it recommends are petroleum based. Just ensure that you know the ingredients of whatever oil you use (Gold Cup does not make that information available on their packaging, or anywhere on their website), and that it is 100% synthetic, with no solvents or petroleum additives. KC Trouble Free, ACI Airlube, MT Oil, Extreme Rage oil, and many other paintball-branded lubricants are available that are fully synthetic. Super Lube Light Oil and air tool oil, as has been mentioned, is also suitable.

I spent literally a couple of months investigating and researching different types of paintball and non-paintball specific oil and grease to see what they were made from and what their lubricating properties were. The culmination of my search was purchasing a nice tube of Super Lube Synthetic Grease, and keeping the 3/4 full bottle of Air Lube that I already had for the last 8 years in my toolbox.
