I need some help deciding which feedneck to get for my 05 Speed.
I'm currently using the stock feedneck with a Halo B hopper, and quite frankly it sits rather high for my taste.
I'm considering getting the CCM No-Rise or Low-Rise feedneck but would like to see one on a 05 Speed to determine if it brings the hopper down like I'm expecting it to.
Pics with a note as to which height would be very helpful.
Thanks In advance.

Something that low won't allow the breach door to open. Most people aren't crazy enough to run with a setup like that... most people...
Find a picture of a 5peed with a CCM feedneck and photoshop it on lower. Or if you don't do photoshop just use a paint program, it's not hard to do.

I don't experience many ball breaks, I have my marker set up to near perfection! Thanks to all the great advise I've received from these boards. Hence the reason I'm looking for a no-rise feedneck.
I guess I could give photoshop a try.
Thanks for the feedback guys

Man that would be a total pain in the rear to have to take off your feedneck every darn time to open the roto-breech. I wouldn't do it, no matter how cool it looked in photoshop...instead of a no-rise just find the lowest one that will fit where you can still fit the roto-breech. Not sure which feedneck that would be.

Meh, I've never had a problem with the breach not opening. As long as your gun is well tuned and you use quality paint so you don't chop or break alot it's really not any bother. I just take it off and wipe down the bolt when I do my normal cleaning. But to each his own. :)

So do you have a no-rise feedneck?
I'm in the same boat as you I don't switch from paint to paint and I have a barrel kit which makes things a little more easier to keep up consistency.
I too clean my marker every time between games/breaks and taking off the feedneck with hopper attached is not that big of a hassle to me.

I live in the SanDiego area and this area really caters towards PM7's and Ego's. I personally haven't found a shop after Cobra Paintball closed in Oceanside that carries Angel Accessories in their shop.

I would always get nervous about cross threading the feedneck and what not, taking it on and off like that. Obviously it really depends on how often you play. If it's only a few times a season or twice a month that is one thing, but if it was once or twice a week that is a lot of twisting and turning...and if it's not locktited down then I would worry about it spinning in a game on me. Just my fears though, and it would probably never happen.

You do have a very valid point!

i know that the breech on your gun is a little thicker than mine but i have a q lock that is ion threaded on my g7 fly and my breech opens without a problem. you could try it but dont force it in.

Ion/Impulse feedneck threads have different thread pitches, as many of the MT's have already confirmed...as well as having to re-tap those who did that very same thing. Again I always err on the side of caution. Just the dad in me talking, sorry.

Unfortunetly the A1 feednecks haven't been released in any color except gloss black. Maybe if they had other colors people wouldn't try cramming feednecks that don't fit on their guns!

Shibby:
Didn't even know you did anno work, although I do recall saying your father or someone in your family does???
In a few weeks I was going to send a non-angel marker to get re-anno'ed at A plus (which is my usual place). What do you charge for something like that?

Oh my goodness!!! He's seeing other marker companies!!! You promised the last time that this would never happen again... I think we're going to need some time apart...
J/k I'm going to have to speak with Shibby about getting some stuff re-annoed as well. :)

I have 2 things to say:
It was a long time ago...and it was at a weak moment in my life. I promise not to stray again...although I do have a DM7, yeow! I'm a such the hypocrit.
I don't know why but I really like my Strange Impulse that I've had for years...which has 2 companies I really cannot stand: Smart Parts (the famed Gardner Bro homo's) and WAS (Jim Drew the king jerk wad).

We answered his questions to the best of our abilities before taking the thread at gun-point. Now quiet you, I told you no more questions until the job is done!
