I am totally confused and require some assistance. This is the full story:
I have 2 Adrenalin LCD's. One had the NiCad battery in it, the other Metal Hydride. The one with the NiCad battery was my back up, thus sat a lot. I charged the battery all the way to use it, and everything seemed fine. All 4 segments were full. I used it for about an hour and had problems with the velocity being too low, and not adjusting up. The following day I went to work on it and when I turned it on the battery was dead. I assumed this to be just a bad battery, and replaced it with a Metal Hydride one I had purchased from Adrenalin several months back. I charged this battery for approximately 24 hours, but only the first segment lit up. Thinking it may be something with the Angel, not the battery, I switched grip frames with the other and it displayed the same. I then tried charging the battery again with it plugged into the other grip frame and again after 24 hrs it was still only on the first segment. To make sure the charger was working correctly I used it to charge my Angel and it worked fine. And with switching grip frames the displays read accurately with the appropriate battery plugged into it. I took this to mean that I possibly had a bad Metal Hydride battery also seeing as it had sat for some time before using it, so I again purchased another Metal Hydride battery. I have no plugged this into the LCD giving me problems and it has done exactly the same thing! The segments cascade for awhile then stops on the first segment. Also again with both grip frames.
I can't believe I'm doing something wrong installing the batteries, they just plug in! But searching the web I can't seem to locate any specific directions. Does the replacement battery require something special to be done? Longer to charge? I hate to purchase another battery kit. Any assistance would be very helpful. But please don't post if your outright guessing, I'm pretty comfortable working on Angels but this is stumping me!
