Hi all. My first post as an Angel owner.
I've just added an Angel LED to my collection, and I know absolutely nothing about them.
I need a charger, but I'm thinking I could upgrade to a newer board to possibly go with a 9v battery. I don't want to put eyes in it though.

It's a splashed Naughty Dog and I believe it's a 98.

If anybody has done some uprgading on these, I'd like some input.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Oh, it's still in the mail, but when I get it, I'll post up some pics.

welcome. i reccommend reading the manual fully regarding your specific marker. also review the ast 3 pages of thread topics regarding LEDs as to see if they can answer any questions you may have. also the search function is your best friend.

i almost got that one on ebay lol

as far as board upgrades go ur kinda gonna be up a creek as theres not alot of following for the LED with boards. I suggest adding a LCD or other model to your collection if you want more upgradeability. If you ever get a LCD i got a thread in the lcd forum stickyd at the top about all the most popular replacement boards available. again welcome to AOG and if you have any questions feel free to PM me

I installed a Morlock board in my LED and it works perfectly. Most aftermarket "universal boards", need only the basics to make an electro marker work...and the LED has it. If you can solder and follow instructions you can install a board. I could'nt install a 9V in the frame, (cut out too small) so I modified the stock battery to mate up to the Morlock using connectors from RadioShack. I also did'nt have the original LED charger but, I had an A4 charger so, I changed the connector on that as well to work with the LED battery. There is a picture of it in the LED pics, on the last page
