Hey guys I am just getting an 05 speed, and I basically know zero about angels. Everything is supposed to work, but I am used to my x-mag so any tips and suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Also whats the point in volumizers (I know a noob question I Am sure flaming expected, but I warned you)? What kind of efficiency should I expect? Maintenance suggestions, and all that fun stuff. I will also be looking for a new barrel, or barrel kit since my cocker threaded ones won't work.

I moved your thread to the 05 speed section. I suggest that you take a look at that section which is right here http://angel-owners.com/forumdisplay.php?f=119 and read up on the stickies. There is plenty of good info there. Here is a link to any software questions you might have http://angel-owners.com/forumdisplay.php?f=171 If you have other questions feel free to ask and remember the search function is your friend.

There really isn't any special maintenance you have to do on an 05 Speed that you wouldn't have to do for any other gun. There's no spool valve so you don't have to worry about re-greasing after every time you use it. Be sure to put some love juice in the in-line reg every now and then and you'll be fine. The volumizers on the 05 Speed are more for show than anything because the Speed already operates at a very low pressure.

Hey man, welcome to Angel Owners :)

don't ever expect to be flamed unless you're flaming :-P
This isn't PBnation, most of the people here are mature enough to understand that just because you're new to the sport, or were never told what something does; doesn't mean you're stupid, it just means you're inexperienced. The whole thing is, you're trying to learn, which I respect.

A couple of tips for your new Angel:

Keep it clean; These things are SO durable, they can operate after filling them with dirt (hah, not suggested though :-P), but they operate so much smoother and efficiently when clean.

Lube all the moving parts/etc. after every use, I mean, you really don't have to, it's suggested that you at least lube it every so many thousand shots though. [I forget the number since I just lube after every use]

Besides that, you should be fine! :)

Angels are built well, work excellent, and look sexy. I myself own a Ninja 05 Speed, and love it. :)

Good luck man!

Thanks alot for the friendly welcome. I have to admit its so much friendlier coming on here and automags.org. I have never been a fan of pbnation because like you say, one wrong thing and you are flamed. I am failry new to electros that is about 3 years ago I got my first. I have just never having an angel is my problem. Started with pgp's in the late 80's and I remeber buying paint at $250 a case. Thats okay I will still be called a noob on the nation. :)
