Need help with LPR retaining pin

When you put the LPR back does the LPR retaining pin go in front of it, or does it lock in the LPR body. I checked the manual and it just has instructions on how to disassemble and not reassemble.

I know that, what I don't know is how it fits in with the LPR. Does it go in front of it, or does it lock in with it somehow?

Just like Ranger Joe said. It goes in through the hole in the body and meets up with the circle indent on the lpr body.
