where can i get a palm emulator for my laptop that will run the ir3 software, my laptop has ir, will it be able to connect with my ir3? also i have one emulator but i need some kind of rom for it, so if the one you are gonna suggest is the same one, where the heck can i get the rom i need and which would it be

In order for you to be able to transfer data to the ir3, you will need an IR transmitter\receiver. Most laptops have it, but it is different than the ones on the palm pilot.

So most likey you will not be able to use a palm emulator. Unless there is software out there that can change the frequency. I know there are some, but I haven't tested it.... i used to use my Palm as a remote control for my home system.

The palm emulators are just used to test\develop software for the Palm OS.
