Pure Energy tanks for A1

I just call a local store and they said to me that I can run an A1 with Pure Energy High Pressure tanks cause the PE tank run a 500 psi of high pressure. It's that true ? please let me know. Thanks.

No thats not true. I tested my PE tank when i got my A1 and it was up around 850 psi. I added the LP drop in kit to it and dropped the pressure to 500 psi.

Pure Energy makes a HP 750-1000+ psi and LP version 400-800+ psi pressures can vary dramaticlly so they should be tested.

^ What he said. We've got an HP-output PE tank that would not chrono under 300, so we go this (http://www.discountpaintball.com/pmi-pure-energy-450-psi-low-pressure-spring-pack-p-1812.html)and everything is hunky-dory now

Be sure to test it if you get a LP tank. I had one PE LP tank one time 800psi, not so good.
