got a 98 led. 10yrs strong and never a problem til the other day. flash tank pipe leaking at threads, tried everything no avail. someone tell me what to use.please dont say loctite 542 cause every supplier ive asked has no listing.
any help would be great

actualy teflon tape should do the trick. thats what we use. take a razor knif and slice the roll down the center to make it neater and last 2x longer. make sure you wrap it the direction the threads go so it does not unwind when you tighten the pipe.

tried that first. it just blew it out when i gassed it up

where are you in the world, I can send you loctite 542 if you think it will sort out your issues with the marker http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/36/36_7_2.gif

i really dont know what will sort out my problem. got an A1 but my led has been with me for a long time. cant let her die on me just yet.

that means the threads are done. hit me up an email. i might have a chrome crack pipe and reg adapter i can part with cheaply

new problem same old girl...

picked up a new crack pipe and solved my problem,partially...
no leak at the threds anymore but now is leaking from small hole directly under edge of flash tank and in front of forward most retaining pin.
any suggestions???

maybe i didnt clarify. its leaking from a small hole in the body.

that my friend is the relief port for the lpr. check your lpr pressure as well make sure the oring under the crack pipe is tight
