Help!!!serious stuff-broken ram?

ok i played on a turnamet with my angel and it was doing well.at the end of turnament i dryfired 500psi from my bottle,than sudenly it began to leak.i didnt know what was wrong so i shot again(no balls),it worked but it leaked.i thought it was an o ring so i took my ram out and found this

i think it is broken so what to do now?

I tried to download your pic but it would not. if o-ring is what you are referring to as broken, you can probably pick one up at any pb store or maybe even a hardware store.

how long since the marker has been taken apart and greased? if a long time, that will lead to o-ring cracking.

Yup it is broken. The threaded stem is inside the hammer and the stem sheared off at the O ring recess. Only way to fix is to get a new one complete with hammer. Check with Bob or Ken for stock. They should have them.

Wow, that's crazy. Did it give any indication of problems prior to you dry firing it? Steel normally doesn't just break like that for no reason.

could be a stress fracture at a very small level that slowly built up, you never know with mechanical parts, now i am gonna get paranoid about my rams breaking, i think i may buy a few extras, anyone know if there is a diff between the a4 fly and 05 speed ones?

your ram shaft is broken and the ram will need to be replaced.

I know, now I'm all worried about my babies. ^^^ That scares the crap out of me.

And no, there isn't a difference that I can tell. I got a Speed ram in my MT, works fine.
