This afternoon i was playing around with the angel to see how fast i could get it to shoot. when i started i could only hit 11bps. I put the MROF up from 13 to 20 and could hit 12 bps. Then i read something about boosting up the dwell, so I put it up from 17 to 24 and now i can get 13-14 bps. Why would the dwell have an impact on how fast I can shoot?

The dwell is how long the valve has to stay open, so its not really changing the impact its just giving more air to shoot the ball, and when you make the dwell open longer the slower you shoot.

Also the rof isnt instantaneous, its a consistent number of shots in one second. The kick ofthe gun might have caused the rof to jump because the marker was not moving as much.

if you figure tho if the dwell is set lower it would make it a fraction of a sec faster because the hammer wouldnt have to stay foward as long to keep the valve open so it would therefore shoots a taddd faster

yea - it can't b the dwell increase because that would make it so that the gun took a fraction of a second longer to shoot 1 cycle - it's gotta b the kick of the gun
