Is the dye throttle tank system low or high pressure ? I have a 45/4500 dye tank and I went to the dye page but it only sez that it is 850 psi, not if it is high or low pressure. Also, I read on some threads here that the good psi pressure for the angel are 600psi, do I have to take out some springs off so I can get to 600psi or I can just play with that 850 psi ?

800 psi is high pressure.
low pressure is like 450 psi
We recommend having the regulator tested to ensure it is working correctly. Our experiences with the throttles are they tend to run 900-1000psi on a full fill.

So what you guys saying is that I must buy a Lp tank ? or could I run my A1 with that tank ? please let me know. Thanx
Our recommendation would be to install a good LP regulator on your tank.

or you can get a CP reg and use your tank. that only will cost 100 where a new tank will be around 150

Or, as Bob said, he can get a tank reg for about $55-65 (no need for a new tank) that will put out lower pressure. Guerrilla Air's Ambush LP reg puts out 440-460 psi at $55, and their Myth reg putting out about 600-650 psi, which seems to be a more optimal pressure for the A1 as well as being the shortest reg on the market, can be found for $65.

The "Search" button is your friend, don't be afraid to use it... but since you're new here I'll be nice. Follow this link:

As per Ken Crane, optimum tank output pressure is 450-600 psi. You can use a tank regulator putting out 400 or so but you'll most likely experience severe velocity dropoff as the tank begins to empty (about 1000 psi or less remaining).
