Hey everyone. I pulled my lcd out of the closet after a few years, and am trying to charge it. everytime i hook up the charger, the board says "tab in". i tried having the on/off switch in both positions with the same result. any suggestions? I tried 2 different battery/switch combos and 2 different boards with the same result. I am using a radioshack wall adapter with a variable voltage selector to charge. thanks.

leave the chgr plugged in and make sure the switch is in the on position. sometimes after extended dead batteries it will do this, also it could indicate a broken wire on the switch

thanks ken.
i soldered the wires onto the switch to make sure they had a good connection, so that shouldnt be the problem. if i flip the switch to on (which i know is how its supposed to charge), nothing really happens. it just sort of flashes on and off. it never comes on and charges. its the newer nimh battery.
the battery is 6v 1000mah. the charger i have is set to 12v, but it only does 300ma output. is this too little ken? thanks. nice to see you still hit up the boards.

300 mah is too low use a factorycar charger with the car running see how that works.
