Hey I just got a 2k1 Fly LCD and was told by the previous owner that the battery was disconnected when he installed a new backplate. So I get the gun home and find a red wire (attached to the battery) also attached to the middle (of 3) prong on the on/off switch on the backplate. The other red wire was very poorly attached to the prong on the (right?, does it matter?) which leads to the board. I soldered the wire onto the prong and this did not help. Still my angel will not turn on when pushing the red button,( or any of the buttons for that matter). I pulled the red and black wires making sure they were secured to the battery and they are, I pull the wire and the battery moves up, so i know they are attached and the black wire from the battery is also attached to the board. I am afraid the board is fried????? How can I know what is wrong? Is it also possible that the battery is just totally dead and I cannot get power to the board to complete the circuit to charge the battery? Please help!!!!!! Thanks for your time.
Peace
-Jeff

The connections to the switch sound correct. Make sure that the read and black wires are connected to the board. Try using the diagram above to see what you are doing.

aight, i know about the switch...lol..it was on when i tried powering the gun. I did all the wiring and everyconnection is good. I still have no power...even with the charger connected. What i am going to try is hooking another battery up to my board and seeing what it does. Hopefully my board isnt fried...that would suck.

Yea, it sounds like a battery problem. It could also be the board, but I doubt it.

It could also be something with a bad screen and nothing is showing up
