would the dell axim x5 work for the ir3

what would i need when i get a palm pilot

never heard of the Dell axim X5.....it has to be running the Palm OS, of I believe version 3.1 or higher. I know that Handsprings don't work, but I believe that the Sony Clie's do, as do the Palm line of M models.

the dell uses a pocket pc os but is there anyway i could still make it work by downloading the palm os or something

nope, the Angel software only runs on the Palm OS. That's one of the reasons why the Handsprings aren't working is because they are using a modified version of the Palm OS.

so i would be able to use an m515, right?

should be able to, I use an M105 and it works fine, the M515 is just a newer model, more RAM etc, is that also the color screen? If so make sure you download the color version and not the grey scale version, not sure if it makes if a difference, but better safe than sorry I say.

once you download the software on to your desktop...how do you select a player profile...like lang's setting...

you can't select profiles until it's on your Palm, then you open the profile on the Palm, and beam it over to your marker
