For all you guys that have shot with the stiffi tip how do you like it?

For me I found that it is ball on ball on ball so so nice BUT I find the balls leaving the marker kinda to the left. Once you shoot you know where the balls are going but I did find it kinda odd.

No marks in the barrel just each ball leaves the same way every time. Kinda to the left.

Don.

All 3 of mine work fine. Straight as an arrow.

Look at the threads. Make sure they are clean and nothing jagged. Check the inside of the barrel back threads as well.

No problems with mine. Ball on ball (I play back!) placed right where I aim it, but it does sound a little different. Not quieter, just different.

striaght as an arrow, and quieter...

maybe yours is defective. The threaded end could be skewed a bit throwing the paint left a hair.

It is not a problem. I never really aim down the barrel.

The other thing it may be is that my bolts soft face seems to be bent over time one way. It seems from the three mounting points that the face is kinda twisted to one direction. I will see if I can take a picture of it to show you.

IT is straight as and arrow and I have never had a marker so so straight and group so well. Just kinda funny the first time I did try looking down the barrel.

Thanks for the reply s guys.

Just a quick question reguarding the stiffi tip.

The Back of the stiffi that screws into your A1 barrel backs, What bore does that "adapter" piece run?

Last I heard, FMA doesnt even ship out side of the US. I think since this was a small run for these tips, I doubt anyone else has them.

Available from Stiff! themselves: http://www.sitemfg.com/stiff-tip.html

I meant no one in Europe. Shipping will still be ridiculous if stiffi is in the US, which im sure they are.

Unfortunately, we do not regularly ship outside of the US other than a few select locations.

It seems my stiffi tip doesnt screw in all the way to the stock back.. theres a small space in between the two and when I look inside my barrel I can see the separated space

If you are sure it is a gap an not just an optical illusion, you can send in the back and tip to us or directly to Stiffi for examination.

compared to the stock barrel kit the stiffi has noticeable separation form the back when i look inside the barrel from the back compared to the stock

The space is between the stiffi logo thread part and the actual manufactured tip.. its a noticeable space between the thread connector of the barrel and the tip itself.. it looks like the tip and thread connection part of the stiffi tip wasnt pushed together all the way.. This is what it looks like when I look at it from the back.. I will try and post pics

Now when I examine it even closer.. it looks like the stock back doesnt screw on all the way leaving a small small gap and the aforementioned problem also Is it supposed to be like it?
