It doesnt matter to much to me but I had a few people comment the color combo and when I search for 05 speeds I cant find one like this.
Just wondering.
Thank you

Can't tell for sure but from my knowledge it is a black speed with swapped pink parts, but is is darn nice heh. Ken or Bob (the admins) are the best authority for determining the origin and type, i rely upon them for all answers heh.

Yeah it makes no difference to me but I plan on setting up an anodizing station. And you guessed it.. shes going under the knife :D
And if these colors are something "special" I would swap with some one.
After seeing old dirty JT straps go for 150.00 I relized that kids will do anything for speciality crap. I dont care to much for it.

Got any pictures of your pink speed?

most pink speeds have everything pink where the black is on yours and everything silver where the pink is on yours

if that makes sense

Any time..
We should get it set up sooner or later.
I have alot of experence with metals and polishing. (years of being an automotive detailer). So I figured ill give this a shot. I have the room, the money and the will to learn so why not =)

and by the time im done im sure ill be slandering my pictures everywhere >=)
im gonna go for a yellow to gold fade I think.

I was fairly positive someone just swapped the parts so I conferred with Fraz and he does not recall that color scheme being offered either.

Thank you.. just curious. The last angel I ever touched before I quit years ago was a lcd =)
I still remember that old brass triggered LED.. what a head ache that thing was.

BE VERY CAREFUL SETTING UP AN AT HOME ANODIZING SETUP

(family owns a anodize shop in California so i know what goes on)

if u need some pointers feel free to ask but i DO NOT reccommend it as a DIY project. BTW ive seen MANY angels paperweighted by DIY anodize. Remember the internals are machined to certain tolerances and when you strip the ano off as its the first layer of aluminum your losing the origional tolerances. Wht i do is completely plug and mask off my internals. (see my purple gun for visualization)

Thank you for your concern. And ill keep you in mind and leave that mail box open =)

Ive worked with metals alot and im a sponge when it comes to learning.
I dont want you guys to get the picture of some 16 year old playing in mommies garage. And ofcourse im gonna anodize alot of other things before the angel goes in. And I understand about the internals of the gun. I would rather just polish it to hide the old color then risk to many layers of new anodize forming.

Im sure im a week or two away anyways and I have alot of how to links saved to read.
