PSP ramp

I know there hasnt been a post in over a year in here but hopefully someone can help me.

I got my A4 the other day but the previous owner failed to tell me that the LCD screen was messed up. He also said it had psp ramp. I think its 4.1 version so I know its mode 3.

Can someone tell me how to change the modes w/o being able to look at my LCD? like a step-by step?

Without the screen, you will not be able to make those changes.

Look around for a used working screen. Any LCD screen from an IR3, A4, A4 Fly, or a G7 will work. There are a few older IR3 boards floating around that are either old or not functioning with perfectly good screens. Search the BST areas here and at PBNation. G'luck and I know how annoying the screen going bad can be. One little tip. DON'T LEAVE THE SCREEN EXPOSED TO DIRECT SUNLIGHT!!! I've had WDP Angel screens go out on me because of that. If you lay down your gun... make sure you lay it down so the screen is covered. Otherwise cover it with a rag or something.

Cool... FMA is a good company and they'll sell you a brand new one. Their price is around $40 for just the screen which I thought was a bit high to pay. If you look around, you may be able to find a "broken" board with a good LCD screen for around $35. I bought an A4 Fly board with a perfect screen for $35 shipped. Just to give you some price examples. G'luck.
