My nearby field is going to have a comic book scenario game comming up next month and i was hoping to get some ideas for characters from you guys. It is going to be split up into 4 teams. DC superheros and supervillans and Marvel superheros and supervillans. The guys that run the field have 2 characters already reserved..Superman, Magneto. The people that reserve their characters early will receive some sort of super-power for their character that day. So i'm looking for some character and costume ideas...something that wouldnt cost too much but would look good. I play with a blue angel speed and it would be really cool to incorporate that into the costume somehow. Any ideas would be appreciated

doc oc would be cool. or the green goblin. There are so many good characters, some good some bad. One of the baddest would be Wolverine from the Xmen. Wish I lived in that area, I would easily play.

you're shooting an Angel...and you can't come up with the ultimate OBVIOUS answer?

ANGEL! ;)

You could try for Arch Angel, but it depends on how they want to work the timeline and what powers they want to give him;). If you wanna be a "villian" the same character was known as Death when working for Apocalypse;)

here's a good resource for fun reading and research: http://www.marveldatabase.com/Main_Page

Emmit took the obvious answer, but I'll go with the no brainer.

Dress up like the Invisible Woman. If you get her super power, turn invisible, walk into the enemy camp and take everyone out.

If they don't give you invisibility, you can at least have her force field power.

Besides dressing in drag would be funny and Hep would appreciate the pics.

there was a Transformers Scenario here in Houston a few years back, and a guy got the part of Mirage. Was cool because Mirage's power was the ability to turn invisible, he was a spy after all. The player had to find a ref and then use his ability and the ref basically had to walk around with him making sure he didn't get shot.

Angel is actually a pretty cool character and has some really interesting back story. One of the oldest X-Men too.

He's actually an original X-Man along with Gean Grey, Scott Summers, Hank McCoy, and Bobby Drake. I know to much comic book stuff so I'll shut up now. The entire story line when he became Arcangel, the angel of death was really good.

I've spent way too much time reading/researching marvel characters in the past lol

being in our 30's I guess we've seen too much in their original printings lol

the 4 Horseman of Apocolypse was just awesome.

It's also part of the reason I laugh when all the fanboy teenagers cry about Venom in the Spiderman movies. Considering how new the Venom character is in relationship to Spiderman there's an awful lot of crybabies about his appearance. The Venom character is such a drop in the bucket in comparison to some of the other characters. Same thing kinda goes for the way that some of the X-men were dealt with in the movies. They really left out a lot of history in trying to go for the teenage crowd. Didn't make them bad movies, just meant that chronologically they were incorrect.

You could add on like some padding and color code your stuff gray and black.

Yeah, i had originally thought of going as angel. I'm just wondering how practical it would be to run around the field with wings lol . My brother is going as someone named Wildcat...easy costume.
