I know of the standard A4 Fly, Master Tech, Cobra Mamba, Joy Division, and you could probably include the Euro Speed because it has the full eye system of a fly. Does anyone know of any other milling patterns? Not really looking for different anno's because there are alot of team guns and such that no one really cares about out there. Thanks for the help.

One thing ive been noticing is that regular a4 flies come in different varietys. Some have fly looking eyeball milling near the barrel portion and some have it smooth. An example of the fly eyeballs is that green fly on the last page of the picture forum.
Anyone know which models came with the eye milling and which ones didnt? Maybe earlier ones had fly eyeballs and later ones skimped?
Thanks alot.

Doesnt seem like some of these forums get very much action.
I never knew there were models without the fly eyeballs till I bought my a4 fly body and it didnt have them.

Yes, if this were the A1 forum you couldn't keep the people away. But discuss a gun that's a couple years old and it's a ghost town :: tumbleweed blows by ::
I noticed the absence of the "Fly Eye" milling in some pictures before but never really thought about it until reading your post the other day. In looking at the boxes that Flys come in you'll find that the red colored fly in the pictures doesn't have that milling. Look close, it's hard to make out. If my memory serves me right the pictures in the manual don't show it either, but I'm not 100% on that. I'm thinking it's the other way, that really early Flys don't have it. Maybe it hadn't been thought of yet, or hadn't been perfected? What's the serial number on yours? Mine has the milling so I'll check mine and we can compare.

Well there goes my theory. Mine's serial number is 5276. I'm not really sure what to make of it. It just doesn't seem like WDP's style to cut corners, especially on something that they'd already made over 5200 of. We need more peoples numbers to compare...

I suspect my theory is true. No matter.

Strange... I don't know why they would do that. Just seems odd.

I never noticed that some were milled without the eyes. I just assumed all of them had it cause my brother's and mine bothe had them.

2955 in my hands with eyes.
Looks like later model a4 flys had no fly eyeballs.

If you look on the box there are 2 more numbers to the serial number that might help with if its newer ones that have it or older ones.
