I'm going to get a 68ci 4500 psi nitro duck adjustable tank. This will solve the speed minireg problem for me since this tank is adjustable. By problem I'm talking about the output pressure having to be 500 or less. Also, what size tank do you all use??

did you guys know mac dev came out with a 2k3 conquest. Conquest already was the lightest and had the highest flow and now it has 70% more increased flow and is basically the same weight. It has on/off that is lightened and is more consistent.

http://www.sakworldpaintballsupply.com/newxstreamtu.html $279.99 for a 68 ci 4500 psi adjustable tank. Not bad, and nitro duck is good from what I've heard. I'm thinking about buying one for my speed.

I'll be buying a 45/4500 AIR. Unless they come out with a 45/5000 soon, then :hitit: in a hearbeat.

i use a preset ACI Bulldog tank on my Dark IR3. Works great! :D

I don't see the need of double regging, but hey, if you want to spend more money, it's your money... go right ahead. ;)

yeah but russ told us that the speed requires an input of under 500psi to shoot below 300 fps so we have to.

Why buy a new tank when you can buy a new reg and solve the problem?? I already had a Palmer stabilizer reg so I'm going to use that Instead of buying a new tank. This is a legitimate solution.

Ok, here's the problem with the mini-reg. (OH GOD NO DON'T SAY IT!) TAG and some other techs were saying that the mini-reg cant handle an input pressure more than 800psi, so that's why he's asking what you are using. There's another fix, which is to get a different regulator that can handle it. The one thing I dis-like about this site is the whole censorship thing. TAG seems to be the devil around here.... I also could've sworn that the word T Immy was blocked out.... I won't even get started on that....

The reason I'm getting this tank is becuase I don't have a nitro tank and its $279.99 which is a good price. The plus is that it is adjustable eliminating the need to buy another regulator for the speed, in my case anyway.

skeletar the Intimidator has never been censored, just like some people seem to think it's funny to self censor Matrix......

However there are other instances where things have been censored, but we won't get into those right now, and it'd be nice if instead of trying to stir the pot you left it alone.

Emmit, like I said, I could've sworn the word Timmy was blocked out with ********stars. Why am I posting this here? Who knows, I kinda just thought of it. And for the pot, it needs to be stirred, otherwise everything will be blocked. Oh well, bottom line is, you will need a low pressure/variable output tank to use the stock mini-reg.

I am using a 68 4500 centerflag preset set at 750 and it works like a charm.

I think the whole thing was kind of a big misunderstanding. I am still really not sure what all was said but I just went ahead and asked Ron and he said I would be fine using a preset. I think that maybe when you get those big old volumizers on there you will need to restrict the flow with an adjustable tank a bit to get it down into playing ranges. this is a hypothesis and until somebody gets a set of the volumizers and says something, we wont know.
