after getting back from playing today i found that my bolt on my a1 was scratched all around the front of it and the area where the balls drop is also scratched im pretty sure its from dirt or sand that got into the breech from a dive but i was just wondering if anybody else has experienced this?

the same thing happened to me with my 05 speed took a dive in florida and scratched stuff up. if the scratches are pretty deep then use eithr 600 or 400 wet sand paper and lightly sand them smooth. if it still shoots fine then dont do anything. hope this helps

yea man, if the scratches in the breech arent deep enough to cause problems then i would just leave them alone. but if they are causing breaks etc. then be sure to keep the sand paper wet and just lightly sand the scratches until they are smooth (not going to cause problems). as for the bolt if you really wanted to you could get another one, or you could just keep that one. i wouldnt recommend sanding the bolt. hope you get things worked out.

i would say (and this is just a guess) that if you had rough enough scratches it would cause enough friction to make the bolt stick. but im lso not 100% sure, if anyone else would like to chime in that'd be nice.
