I've been having consistent issues with my efficiency & it's getting very frustrating. I'm only getting 4 Dye Locklids & the latter part of a hopper & I'm down to 200-300 psi (70/4500). My settings are not the issue.

Dwell: 8 ms.
ABS: 3 ms.
Tank output: 450 psi.
260s-270s fps (the paint sucked). It's very a consistent set-up. I just happened to be using garbage paint. No drop.

I have a STD LPR (no guage), I use a barrel kit & I have the MT Valve. I was also told a new cupseal was put in place which I am now doubting.

Also, if I were to swap out my STD LPR for a G7 LPR, how often would I likely have to adjust it? The reason I ask is because I am concerned that if my LPR is causing the issues with inefficiency it would need to be replaced.

Check your LPR pressure (bet it's low)

Yes, check the LPR- if it is too low, your efficiency will suffer.

And with the abs- is that 3ms its set to? If so lower it to the lowest setting.
Your reg might be creeping along with your lpr possibly. Lube and or Service both.

Well, I wasn't getting drop-off. I actually had to raise my LPR a bit because someone lowered it too much.

If I swap out my STD for a G7 LPR how often would it need adjusting?

Stay with the STD. As advised lube it and get it pressure set properly and the recharge rate is great. Like you said no drop off. When was the last time you broke down and lubed the whole gun? Started with known pressures?

I belive the STD LPR is self adjusting. Correct me if I am wrong. With the stock LPR you need to pop the pressure gauge on it and change your 2nd stage regulator pressure in order to set it at the recomended 65 psi ( I belive)
