When anyone gets their speed, could you let me know if it's as easy to sustain long ropes of high speed fire with the speed as it is with matrixes, intimidators, and vikings? I dont know if this is just me being an oldschool forker but it's really hard to even get 12 bps on my LCD, and whenever i touch a matrix or a timmy it's a cakewalk to get 14-15... I just don't want to sink all this money into a new speed to find out that i can't rock any wdp trigger. Perhaps anyone with ir3 opto trigger experience could help me out.

matt- What you need to do is find a Speed somewhere and try one. It is tottaly preference. Some people can rip on an angel and have trouble on a timmy or viceversa. No one can tell you how you will shoot because everyone is different. Plenty of people can get 15 on an angel but maybe you cant.

do ir3 opto triggers feel more like LCD, timmy, or matrix triggers? maybe this will help judge how a speed will feel. Since i've never shot an ir3 (i know, sucks for me) i dont know if the trigger feels any different than an LCD's.

I dont really think an ir3 trigger feels like any other trigger out there. I can rip on my 2k2 but I can also on my ir3 so its hard to say whats better. I just installed one of the cobra triggers on my ir3 and my bps jumped from a 13max to now 16 without air.

My timmy I can shoot easily 14-15 but I still prefer my angel. Its just a different feel and in my eyes the angel just feel more solid

It's going to have to come down to trigger work.
If you set it up to something you are comfortable with, then you will be able to rip it. Straight out of the box, you may not be able to rip it.

is the general concensus in agreement with "intimidators and matrixes are easier for the majority of people to rip on than ir3s are?"
