Trouble with feed neck!

Ok I have a g7 fly with that stock twist feed neck with the black rubber spacer. When I try to push the darn halo into the neck it pushes the black spacer down. Ive tried to put it on the hopper first and then put it on the gun. That didnt work. I tried wetting the halo feed neck and pushing it on. Any advice? Im really not hot on filing down the hopper neck but that will be my next move. Should I just buy an clamping one? Any advice would be great. Thanks up front~!

sounds like it need to file down the hopper neck or get a clamping one. when i first got mine my halo didnt fit in the stock neck either. if you want a clamping one i got a hybrid hedlok im gonna be getting rid of here sooon.

try some grease (same as for your gun) or good old spit. make sure you go in a clockwise direction, same as the threads so you don't fight against them and accidently break loose the feedneck. filing down the feedneck is a possibility with sand paper or steel wool.

Get a CCM feed neck.

Try to lube it, or just get a new feedneck.
