hook up air turn it on the 2 orange lights light up and the red one then i put balls in it and it makes the orange ones go away and become green and red(showing eyes on and ball present)..and thats it wont fire wont do anything, its not leaking air and the air is flowing because i can hear it fill it up and push the bolt back, the person i bought it from isnt responding to my messages, i can run a angel with the screen but this is all new to me..any explanations?

What software version do you have?
What is your TR setting?
What is your dwell setting?
Does the board recognize a trigger pull?

eardor

i would say doesnt recognize trigger pull, because i cant turn the eyes on or off while the gun is on

eardor
07-10-2007, 05:25 PM
yeah i cant even change settings with the grips off...set everything back to factory settings

is it possible to have the screw on the cover plate to tight? i loosened it up to check and air came out without me having a tank hooked up

It could be that your trigger simply isn't reaching the activation point of the board.

not sure whats going on now, turned it on and let it sit for a second and the lights switched from eyes on no balls to eyes on ball present, it has no air and no balls hooked to it.. board supposedly has the latest software update which i bought it like a week ago...still cant get a response from seller

If it lights up red and yellow at start that could mean a low battery...

they all light up when i first turn it on, then it shows the eye status...put new battery in, same thing

you said it was the stock board? are all the wires secure inside? and did the person you bought it from say there was any problems, sounds like you might need a new board.

eardor
07-10-2007, 08:02 PM
yeah as far as i can see they are secure, just took out the eyes and tested them they seem fine, took off cover plate everything seems intack...i bought it from mike and ike on here and havent heard from him in a few days, but he never mentioned any issues... the board displays all the electronics

try adjusting the trigger, so that it goes further into the board, idk know if this is possible, but it could have gotten nocked around en route.

HOT DOG IS THE MAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!! you are my hero, except there was air trapped in the gun and i almost blew my foot off

lmao, smooth. congrats on your new Angel, but where did the spring pop out of? and do you think you can put it back in? pics might help

not sure i just saw it bounce, can you leave the vernier wheel screws and the screw that goes in the trigger off?looked at the manual and dont see a spring anywhere accesible

AHotdog
07-10-2007, 08:24 PM
not sure what you mean, the locking screw? or the adjustment screws. does it still fire w/out the spring? not sure what it could be, let me check the manual before you gas it up again

eardor
07-10-2007, 08:26 PM
yeah teh locking screw thru the trigger and the adjustment screws that hold the vernier wheels in place. the spring that flew out is at leats an inch long and thin

Are both the front caps over the tubes on the front of the gun?

eardor
07-10-2007, 08:29 PM
ahhhh, i think i know what it is, its the srping that goes with the pull knob...do i really need that spring? itll make my gun lighter

Mavrick

So you have the back plate off then. That spring keeps the breach pin engaged so the breach stays locked.

AHotdog

I don't see the point in leaving the screw and wheels out, if you have the trigger out there should be no need to leave it out. also, is the little knob still on the back of the gun?

eardor
07-10-2007, 08:34 PM
no, the back plate is on......but it use to have like some pressure to pull it out and now i can easly pull it out...so you suggets pputting the screws back in the wheels and trigger?

AHotdog
07-10-2007, 08:34 PM
yeah, its probably a good idea to leave it in, so your breach doesn't open while you're shooting

eardor
07-10-2007, 08:35 PM
how do you get that spring back in then

AHotdog
07-10-2007, 08:36 PM
yeah, best to keep the gun sealed up good. but like pretty much everything in paintball, it's all preferance

eardor
07-10-2007, 08:39 PM
can that pull knob spring be put back in without having to take anything apart because i just finally got everything back together

AHotdog
07-10-2007, 08:42 PM
its just 2 bolts on the back plate to replace it if I remember correctly, but checking the manual is always a good idea
