Cobra Speed..

Stopped by Cobra Paintball today and asked about a cobra version of the speed..


I was told that they will be releasing a new gun.. Not a speed with cobra milling but actually an IR3 with speed internals. So basically a speed on steroids. IR3 features with speed low pressure.


The guy told me about 6-8 weeks for its release. I was considering a mamba ir3 but he told me I should probably hold off and wait to see their new marker.

They're probably waiting for the "retrofit" LP parts from WDP. Sounds like a hit.

This crap is going to kill me with all these choices....It's like, what do you get? Get the new Speed, or wait for the Dark Speed (Speed Demon), or get the LP IR3 from Cobra...it's too much! lol.

Cobra's prices arent any more expensive that anybody elses if you check out their website. Even at times their prices are less.

well the cobra Ir3 will be aimed at a different market than the speed. The selling point of the speed is that it's just lean and mean, no frills, like so many people had wished for before the Speed's debut. Some people like all that fancy stuff and are willing to shell out an extra $700 for an LCD screen. We all know cobra is making about 40,000% profit on that little doodad, but hey, to each his own...
