Ok, about every 3rd shot in my g7 fly the bolt doesn't fully get out of the chamber, so the ball doesn't fall far enough to break the eyes. I just replaced the bolt with a brand new one, so that isn't the problem. My breach wobbles like a drunkard, but other then that I don't have a clue. Any suggestions?

Did it work prior to replacing the bolt?
Air in your tank?
Battery fully charged?
What are all of your pressures set at?
Wire plugged into the correct ports?
What is your dwell setting?
Does the bolt slide freely in the breech and body?

Nope, I thought the issue was the broken soft face, that's why I replaced the bolt. The old bolt does show significant wear, however.

Air in your tank?
Yes.

Battery fully charged?
LCD indicates a full charge.

What are all of your pressures set at?
I don't know. It was previously owned by Kenny Klamper, and hasn't been changed since then. I assumed Rage set it up right last year.

Wire plugged into the correct ports?
Yes.

What is your dwell setting?
11

Does the bolt slide freely in the breech and body?
Yes.

As a side note, it will normally go back to shooting after a second or to, and it works fine with the eyes off, with the exception of that it will chop. Also, I have it RF'd for my pulse, but I didn't do anything more then use a tadao harnes and put the chip in the frame above the board behind the trigger wheel.

It occurs to me that I'm not sure I had any issues before I rf'd it...

Does the breach knob feel loose ? Or should i say, does it move when firing ?

Nope.

It could be my eyes, or that my pulse isn't feeding as well as I thought it was, but I don't think that's it.

Check those pressures. Not enough voltage to power the RF chip properly from a G7 Solenoid port.

Ok, more experiementing.

I have determined that it is not the pressures, nor is it failure to feed due to my rf'd pulse. I was hand feeding balls, one at a time, and firing them very slowly, and I was getting the same thing. I could easily see that the ball was not being stopped or caught in any way on the bolt or the breach, and was falling to the bottome of the chamber. Additionally, with the laser eyes, it was easy to see that the eyes were being broken. However, the board was not registering that the eyes were broken for as much as a second sometimes, and other times acted as everyone expects eyes to. Using the board eye diagnostic, they pass every time.

So, what's that mean? Bad eyes? Bad connection to the board? Bad board? Bad luck?

Hopefully just the eyes are failing. So the bolt is cycling correctly?

Correct, the bolt cycles fine, and if I turn off the eyes everything works and cycles as fast (or in my case slow) as my fingers will run it, and when it was over a chrono last weekend it was consistant at +/- 2.
