I’ve had a couple instances where why OLED screen has acted weird. The first time the gun had just been sitting in my room for a week, untouched. I turned it on and the text was messed up; backwards, mirrored, looked Russian.. (the up side down A was kinda funny) I changed battery (didn't help) and turned it on and off a few times. Turned it on a little later and it was fine. The other day when I turned it on it was blank! Now I took of the grip panel and gently pushed on the edge of the screen, turned it on at it was fine. Seems like there is some sort of faulty connection. I’ve never hit the ground or anything like that, and this happened just out of the blue, haven’t played in weeks.

So I guess my question would be; have anyone seen anything similar? Would this be a warranty issue? (sure hope so) Do you know if I need to send it in or could I get a new board? Problem is I’m not sure I could reproduce it, and now it works fine. But since we all know Murphy’s law this will probably happen again at some tournament.
I live in Norway so sending it anywhere is not that easy.. Could take weeks

Thanks for any response, and for reading all that:)

The screen is connected to the board by what is called a ZIF socket so it can be removed and replaced by a tech. I would guess that the ribbon that connects the screen to the board has gust come out of this socket or is just a little loose. If you are technically minded you will be able to carefully remove the screen and re connect the ribbon into the ZIF, if on the otherhand you have the technical ability of a squid then I would make no attempt whatsoever to carry out this procedure and would inturn conatct an Angel dealer and have them replace the screen back onto the board.

Thanks for the prompt response Frazer.

That sounds plausible. My technical abilities are somewhat better than invertebrates but I’m not sure by how much. I’ll take a look, but should probably get someone more knowledgeable to fix it. Nearest Angel dealer is maybe in Sweden somewhere so I can’t just stop by. I have an uncle who runs an electronic store, fixes radios and such, maybe he could look at it? I’ll just have to make sure he knows what he’s doing before he sets off.
thanks again
